Since December 3, 2022, I, Pallavi Thakur, representing Gram Disha Trust in India, have been in Germany through weltwärts program. Moving from a small himalayan region in India to an entirely new country is challenging. At times, it leaves you feeling like you don’t belong, especially when you struggle to understand their humor or accent in conversations. However, I can confidently say that this experience is the best thing I have ever done. It has granted me a sense of individuality that I would never have discovered otherwise.
